AIA Convention, recap: Chicago in pictures

Since the last post was rather wordy, I thought I’d follow up with some pictures that tell the story of convention.

The digs

Airbnb hooked me up with a place to stay after my original host canceled last minute. Needless to say their customer service follow-through has gained them a loyal customer for life.

AIA Convention

The convention was a blast. As I mentioned in my previous post, it blew my mind. I’m hooked.

The Architecture

As we all know, The Windy City is akin to Mecca for architects. It was wonderful to have the AIA Convention in a city that has seen such transformative growth over the span of history, let alone the last 10 years.
